Remembering Peter Scott Robinson

All of us at CYF are deeply saddened by the passing away of Peter Scott Robinson, the founder of SET Foundation. Peter was committed to improving the lives of young people in Thailand, dedicating his life to the education of generations of youth in Nakhon Sawan and elsewhere. Over the weekend, three members of our Board of Trustees attended his funeral – Mrs Chanika Haemapun along with her husband Suree, Dr Anotai Klampaiboon and Mr Yuthawee Haemapun.

The funeral was a testament to Peter’s influence, attended by monks, students, organisations and distinguished guests from across the Thai community. Dr Anotai said of the occasion “it was as peaceful and beautiful of a funeral as anyone would wish for”.

We are proud to have had a long partnership with Peter and his presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy of education will no doubt continue into the future.
