SLSF and CYF Visit to Chiang Mai and Scholarship Distribution – December 2022
Early the beginning of December this year, the board members of SLSF and CYF paid a visit to Chaing Mai and visited partner organisations we have supported including NLC (New Life Center), TLDF ( Thailand Lah Development Foundation), the Northern Programme and the SET Foundation from Nakonsawan also presented. On the 6th of December, part of the board members visited some current students’ villages in Piang Luang, and donation of water filters, blankets and winter jackets was handed to the communities.
From the 7th – the 9th of December, the scholarship ceremony has held in five different institutes which CYF has recently developed a partnership with, the five institutes are Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Chiang Mai, Mae Jo University and Lanna Polytechnic Chaing Mai Technological College.
The Total Scholarship distributed to these institutes in total is 900,000 THB, in which the students who are receiving the scholarship will continually be awarded till their graduation.
SLSF and CYF sincerely appreciate the assistance from our partners and the institutes for their help in the success of the scholarship distribution of the foundation.
